Rubicon Theatre Artistic Directors KARYL LYNN BURNS and JAMES O'NEIL announced the company's 15th Anniversary Season at a preview event for subscribers, donors and media last earlier this month at the theatre's home in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. The event was hosted by Rubicon Board President DR. ROZ WARNER and Board of Advisors' Chair/Board Vice-President JEFF SMITH, with onstage appearances by several of the directors, writers and performers for the season.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), under the Artistic Direction of Diane Paulus has announced the complete cast for its February 2013 production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, to be directed by Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany. Multiple Tony and Emmy Award winner Cherry Jones returns to the A.R.T. to play Amanda Wingfield, and will be joined by Zachary Quinto as Tom, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Smith as the Gentleman Caller. The Tony Award-winning design team includes set and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz, and sound by Clive Goodwin.

According to Variety, Tony winner James Corden, has signed on to star in the BBC's 'The Wrong Man' series. THe six part comedy thriller will air on Hulu in 2013. Corden will play a 'lowly office worker Phil caught up in a criminal conspiracy involving a car crash.'

Fort Worth Opera revealed today the names of the composers whose works have been selected for participation in the first season of the company's exciting, annual new works program, Frontiers, making its debut May 6 - 11, 2013. The showcase will present eight unpublished works by composers from the Americas during the last week of the 2013 Opera Festival in the McDavid Studio across from Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth.

Winning the prestigious Woodward/Newman Award for best play, while being developed at Rogue Machine for their 2012 season, brought with it a fully funded production mounted at the Bloomington Play Project in Indiana. It turned out to be one of their most successful projects to date. A Holland New Voices Award came shortly afterwards, and now playwright Henry Murray is ready for its close-up at Rogue Machine, known for staging new works. This will be a West Coast Premiere in one of the country's most vibrant cities for new plays, Los Angeles, opening tonight, September 15, 2012.

Know Theatre and the Cincinnati Fringe Festival have announced a fall mini-Fringe Festival comprised of four encore performances from 2012 Cincinnati Fringe Festival artists! These Fringe encores will feature two returning shows: Audience Pick of the Fringe, On Her Pillow by Honour Pillow of Cincinnati, OH and Producers' Pick of the Fringe, The Screw You Revue by Screw You Entertainment of Olrando, FL as well as two new shows by 2012 Fringe Artists Kevin Thornton and Tommy Nugent. Described as 'latter-day pioneers of the Nashville rock scene, the duo is known for its rockin' live shows, prolific recorded output, relentless work and touring schedule, as well as its family-owned, super cool, vinyl-centered record label, Infinity Cat Recordings, which has been a pillar of support for Nashville bands since 2002 with over 70 releases to date.'

TRIASSIC PARQ The Musical, presented by Amas Musical Theatre, is set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement at the SoHo Playhouse, June 12th through August 5th. Opening night is Wednesday, June 27th. Winner of 2010's Best Musical Award at FringeNYC, TRIASSIC PARQ is written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo, with direction by Marshall Pailet, choreography by Kyle Mullins and musical direction by Zak Sandler.
