A FUNNY GIRL theme and returning guest star Idina Menzel? What more could any self-respecting Broadway baby - or, better yet, gleek - possibly ask for in an episode of GLEE 4.0? Well, last night, we got some out of control college antics - including hallway oil slides and the “Harlem Shake” in a fountain - sage wisdom via Coach Beiste (Dot Marie Jones) and Mr. Schue (Matt Morrison) and even an original tune by AVENUE Q's Tony Award-winning Jeff Marx, to name but a few fabulous features of the show. Yes, last night's GLEE was a continued effortlessly fun frolic and easy, breezy ride in the ever-entertaining musical series, acting as a sweet salve to last week's heart-stopping school shooting and ensuing Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) drama.

Category 7 in association with La Salle Academy and Nativity Mission announces the cast and creative team for Stand-Up Tragedy, Bill Cain's searing 1991 play about a Lower East Side middle school, where an idealistic young teacher sets out to save one of his students from an abusive family and the streets. Directed by Nicholas Minas, performances begin at Nativity Church (44 2nd Avenue - between 2nd & 3rd Streets) tonight, April 12, 2013 and will continue through May 4.

The result is No Sex Please, We're British, a raucous evening featuring top comic actors. At the helm of this controlled chaos is director Catherine Doherty, whose comic touch is unmatched.

The Rubin Museum will explore illusion and human perception in this year's edition of the popular Brainwave series of on-stage conversations between mind scientists and thinkers from diverse walks of life. Opening today, February 6, the series will include 20 on-stage conversations, 50 film screenings, and an interactive experience in which the museum will become a Memory Palace. While illusion is usually associated with vision, the series will engage audiences through all five senses to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), presents Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie in February 2013, to be directed by Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany. The Warner Archive Collection (WAC) - the Warner Bros. Digital Distribution (WBDD) division dedicated to releasing on DVD previously unavailable films and television shows - today announced the launch of its first Blu-ray titles. The two titles, Deathtrap and Gypsy, will debut today, November 20. Beginning in February 2013, WAC expects to release a minimum of one to two Blu-ray titles per month. Future titles include The Hudsucker Proxy and Fearless.
