?HOUSTON (April 20, 2016) – Renowned maestro David Zinman will appear with the Houston Symphony and Chorus to conduct the Fauré Requiem at 8 p.m. April 28 and 30 and at 2:30 p.m. May 1. Zinman is the only American conductor to appear on this season's classical series.

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 15, 2016) — The 58th season of Kansas City Ballet closes with a mixed–repertory program of four bold and electrifying works in one performance: Viktor Plotnikov's WORLD PREMIERE, Vesna, featuring the music of Antonín Dvorák, Yuri Possokhov's Diving into the Lilacs including music by Boris Tchaikovsky, Helen Pickett's Petal with music of Thomas Newman and Philip Glass and closing the program with Adam Hougland's Rite of Spring with the brilliant masterpiece score by Igor Stravinsky. The production will be accompanied by Kansas City Symphony conducted by Kansas City Ballet Music Director Ramona Pansegrau and runs May 6 through 15 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

This project is directed by international award-winning theater artist and veteran Skidmore Theater director/instructor Phil Soltanoff and will run October 22-28, 2015 at 8pm (Sunday matinee at 2pm) at the Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater on the Skidmore College campus.

Tonight, September 26, Music Director LARRY RACHLEFF and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra welcome LILYA ZILBERSTEIN to The VETS for a performance of Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto. The concert program also features Mussorgsky's Dawn on the Moskva River and Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, which caused a riot at its 1913 Paris premiere. The Morris Museum will kick off its Fall A La Carte Series with a dynamic performance by the New West Guitar Group. Featuring original compositions, pop covers, and a standard jazz repertoire, the concert will be performed in the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre on Sunday, October 25 at 2:00PM.

New York City Ballet will open its 2015-16 Season at Lincoln Center tonight, September 22 with eight performances of Peter Martins' production of Tschaikovsky's Swan Lake, through Tuesday, September 29, to launch the Company's 2015 Fall Season, which will continue for four weeks through Sunday, October 18.
