Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere ofCharles Ives Take Me Home, written by Jessica Dickey and directed by Daniella Topol. Charles Ives Take Me Home will begin performances on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater at 224 Waverly Place. The official opening night is set forThursday, June 13 at 7pm. The production is scheduled to run through June 29.

Columbia Stages will present NEW PLAYS NOW, the annual festival of new plays by emerging artists from the MFA Theatre Program at Columbia University School of the Arts. NEW PLAYS NOW will run from tonight, April 17 to May 11 and will feature original works by Paulina Barros, Keith Boynton, Talya Chalef, Angelica Cheri, Pei-Chieh Chiang, Paola Lazaro Muñoz, Alessandra Most, Christina Quintana, Torrey Townsend, and Zhao Binghao.

Don't miss Colbie Caillat at bergenPAC on Monday March 25th at 8PM. Colbie Caillat is an American pop singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist from Malibu, California. She debuted in 2007 with Coco, which included hit singles 'Bubbly' and 'Realize'. In 2008, she recorded a duet with Jason Mraz, 'Lucky', which won a Grammy. Caillat released her second album, Breakthrough, in August 2009. Breakthrough was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2010 Grammy Awards. She was also part of the group that won Album of the Year at the 2010 Grammys for her background vocals and writing on Taylor Swift's Fearless album. Caillat has sold over six million albums worldwide and sold over 10 million singles. In 2009, she was named Billboard magazine's 94th-best-selling music artist of the 2000-2009 decade. In 2011, she released her third studio album All of You. On October 23, 2012 she released her first Christmas album Christmas in the Sand.

As part of its Fall 2012/Spring 2013 Performing Arts Season, Japan Society presents Seinendan Theater Company and Osaka University's Robot Theater Project, a double bill of one-act plays written and directed by Oriza Hirata. Co-presented with the Japan Foundation, this production plays three performances at Japan Society during a six-city North American tour.
