Lead songwriter of The Who Pete Townshend has written two new songs exclusively for the touring production of Tommy, produced by the New Wolsey Theatre in co-production with Ramps on the Moon and directed by Kerry Michael. A new version of 'Amazing Journey' will open the show, and after her iconic Act One song Acid Queen, played by original cast member Peter Straker, will make a return in Act Two with a new torch song.

Author Jolene Morgan Boyer believes that as long as people live, they may experience an assortment of problems and trials and although these are of different intensity, being problems, they will continue to exist. In line with this, she wants stories of survival and overcoming problems by people around here to be immortalized and preserved for future generations and that is why she decided to publish her book. 'Them's My People' showcases what Boyer considers as unique and unusual stories she has composed, witnessed, read or heard about for decades.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today two additional productions for the company's 47th subscription season: Glen Berger's acclaimed solo drama, Underneath the Lintel, starring Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee David Strathairn, and Beatrice Basso and Linda Alper's new translation of Eduardo De Filippo's poignant Italian comedy, Napoli!, featuring A.C.T. favorites Marco Barricelli and Stratford Festival star Seana McKenna. These two productions join the previously announced 1776, A Christmas Carol, Major Barbara, Venus in Fur, and The Orphan of Zhao. The final production for the 2013-14 season will be announced at a later date.
