Original ensemble members, Michael Winther, Kimberly Grigsby, Shane Shanahan are joined by cellist, Peter Sachon as they reunite with Pulitzer prize-winning lyricist, Mark Campbell and many of the composers for a special one-night-only concert event, celebrating the ten year anniversary of Songs from an Unmade Bed, the critically acclaimed, theatrical song cycle originally produced off-Broadway by New York Theatre Workshop in 2005.

An American in Paris, an elegant evening of entertainment and classic cuisine will be held tonight, May 15, 2015 at Theatre Memphis beginning at 6:30pm. Internationally known designer Brian J. McCarthy will speak regarding his designs and new book release, Luminous Interiors, and the seated dinner will be prepared by celebrity chef, Jose Gutierrez of River Oaks Restaurant.

Toronto – The Canadian Opera Company's iconic double-bill of Béla Bartók's Bluebeard's Castle and Arnold Schoenberg's Erwartungreturns to the company's mainstage to close its 2014/2015 season. COC Music Director Johannes Debus conducts both operas for the first time, leading the COC Orchestra through these visceral and haunting scores, all brought to life in a mind-bending and gravity-defying production by world-renowned Canadian artistic visionary Robert Lepage. Bluebeard's Castleis sung in Hungarian and Erwartung is sung in German, both with English SURTITLESTM, and runs for only seven performances on May 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 23, 2015 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.

The Paris Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International is sponsoring the Second Annual Paris Jazz Tour and Singers Workshop, bringing singers from different genres together from the U.S., Paris and Croatia to travel to Paris from June 18-24, 2015, led by Paris Committee member and singer Claudia Hommel.

In Shakespeare's First Folio edition, 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona' opens with Valentine leaving Verona for Milan to finish his education, leaving his friend Proteus at home to woo Julia. The Drilling Company's version, which opens the second season of Bryant Park Shakespeare, is set in NYC's Little Italy and Shakespeare's two cities are transformed into two rival New York restaurants. Elia Schneider, formerly of Venezuela, is known for hauntingly visual productions which transcend language with strong imagery and a dreamlike fresco of movement and design. In 'Judgment on a Gray Beach,' her newest work, themes of exile and totalitarianism are explored by a condemned man--he knows not for what--on a beach populated with ten sheepish antiheroes who agree to obey absurd laws and nonsensical orders. Will he escape or return for punishment? La MaMa E.T.C., her theatrical home in New York, will present the work's world premiere March 6 to 15 in its Ellen Stewart Theater, 66 East 4th Street.
