English Touring Theatre and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse today announce the full cast for the world premiere of their co-production of The Odyssey: Missing Presumed Dead. The production reunites Simon Armitage and Nick Bagnall after their recent collaborations on The Last Days of Troy and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Nick Bagnall directs Lee Armstrong, Simon Dutton, Roger Evans, Polly Frame, David Hartley, Ranjit Krishnamma, Chris Reilly, Sule Rimi, Danusia Samal, Colin Tierney and Susie Trayling.

Deaf West's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening, directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff, just began rehearsals for its Broadway transfer. The Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office will open next Monday, August 17. Elizabeth Greene and Daniel Marmion also join the production as swings.

While prolific movie star, Kevin Costner, commands the microphone and his band, Modern West, accompanies with Americana roots and rock instrumentals, the imagery is nicely atmospheric. The all-American boy persona Costner has perfected effectively complements the whole enterprise. Costner started touring musically in an endeavor to connect with his fans on a more personal level, sharing his love of music and lighting up the stage with a band of musicians that balances perfectly with his laid back, intimate, rock 'n' roll musings.
