Lincoln Center Out of Doors one of the country's longest-running, free, summer outdoor festivals opens its 45th season on July 22, 2015. A range of concerts, dance performances, family events, related film screenings, talks, and an exhibition will be presented across three weeks, from July 22 - August 9.

This new lineup of shows includes the return of Six Hollywood Pantages favorites. Rhinebeck Writers Retreat to Host 17 Writers, Featuring Obie, Larson & Kleban Award Winners

Kathy Evans, Founding Executive Director of Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, announced the 17 writers and 8 new musicals selected for the fifth summer of weeklong retreats. For eight consecutive weeks beginning July 5th, each writing team will have a residency in Rhinebeck, New York. Writers are provided a private home, transportation, food, and a $400 stipend. This year's writers include Obie winner Kirsten Childs, Tony nominee Elizabeth Davis, and 2015 Jonathan Larson award-winners Charlie Sohne, Tim Rosser, and Sam Willmott, who also just won the Kleban Prize. 

Rutina Wesley to Lead The Old Globe's TWELFTH NIGHT; Cast, Creatives Set!

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for The Old Globe production of William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night. Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, is back to direct the first show of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement will begin performances on June 21 and run through July 26, 2015, with opening night on Saturday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

The Rolling Stones have announced that WALK THE MOON will be the special guest artist opening their show in Detroit on Wednesday, July 8 at Comerica Park.  ZIP CODE, the band's 15-city North American stadium tour, kicks off in San Diego on May 24, and will also be making stops in Columbus, Minneapolis, Arlington, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis and Buffalo before wrapping in Quebec on July 15 at Le Festival D'Eté de Québec.

On the heels of the opening of Lonesome Traveler Off-Broadway, the musical which originated at Rubicon Theatre Company which celebrates the essence and spirit of America folk music, Rubicon Artistic Director Emeritus James O'Neil today announced a one-night-only concert by singer/songwriter Noel Paul Stookey tonight, April 11, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the theatre, located at 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. The performance will feature Stookey's own compositions, as well as hits from his years in the legendary group Peter, Paul and Mary (famous for performances of songs like Dylan's “Blowin' in the Wind, “If I Had a Hammer” and “Puff, the Magic Dragon”).
