Broadway Across Canada has unveiled their upcoming 2019-2020 Season package which is available for sale today.  Four theatrical productions take centre stage at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium beginning next fall including the spectacular Broadway Musical, DEAR EVAN HANSEN. 

Tonight, FOX will air their third live musical production. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced that the nominees for the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be announced live from Park City, Utah from the AT&T Hello Lounge during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Friday, January 25. The announcement will be hosted by Mj Rodriguez (FX's Pose) and Nico Santos (Crazy Rich Asians, NBC's Superstore). GLAAD is an Institute Associate of Sundance and will also host on-the-ground events during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival to raise visibility of LGBTQ-inclusive films and LGBTQ filmmakers.

Broadway superstar, and Tony Award nominee, Adam Pascal comes to Hollywood Boulevard for one week only, beginning today, January 15. Adam Pascal will play Edward Lewis through Sunday, January 20, 2019, during Andy Karl's time off.

Producer Paula Wagner announced today that PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will welcome Broadway superstar, and Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal to Hollywood Boulevard for one week only. The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the New York premiere of WILD GOOSE DREAMS, written by Hansol Jung and directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman.

October brings four Prime Original series, one Prime Original series special and one Prime Original movie exclusively available for Prime members to stream or download at no additional cost to their membership.

On the day that Denise Van Outen was due to start rehearsals as 'Velma Kelly' in Chicago it was discovered that she had suffered a stress fracture in her heel.

Star of stage and screen Denise Van Outen will join the West End cast of CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre, playing the role of Velma Kelly from Monday 24 September through to Saturday 17 November 2018. Denise will join Alexandra Burke as Roxie Hart, Duncan James as Billy Flynn, Mazz Murray as Mama Morton and Paul Rider as Amos Hart.

Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Since the festival's inception in 2001, REBEL VERSES has provided young artists, ages 13-19, with the opportunity to collaborate and network with their peers and prominent artists, and to showcase their original work. The long awaited revival of Jason Robert Brownand Alfred Uhry's gripping Tony Award-winning murder mystery musical PARADE as presented in 2013 at Fullerton's Plummer Auditorium by 3-D Theatricals (3DT) of Los Angeles and Orange County, once again takes a bow at two Southern California main stage theatres. It began June 1 - 10 at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts and now continues June 15 - 24, 2018 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.
