Matthew Warchus' fourth season as Artistic Director of The Old Vic completes with an Arthur Miller double-bill, a World Premiere by Lucy Prebble and a special One Voice performance. These productions form Part 2 of the season, and follow the previously announced Part 1 consisting of ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company's production of SYLVIA; Annie-B Parson's 17c; Emma Rice's Wise Children; and A Christmas Carol - for which today we also announce further casting.

Dawn King's Foxfinder will have its West End premiere at the Ambassadors Theatre from 6 September 2018 for a strictly limited season until 5 January 2019. Olivier Award-winner Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones' Ramsay Bolton, Misfits) will star in the unsettling and darkly comic drama directed by Rachel O'Riordan whose production of Killology at the Royal Court won the 2018 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre. Further casting will be announced at a later date.

The Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company will open this new 2019 season with a theme of collaboration and outreach, especially with other diverse, immigrant women choreographers from Asia. The first major event of the Company will be a celebration of the Moon, a collaboration with the Jersey City arts venue, the White Eagle Hall of the Jersey City Theatre Center that opened in 2013, and have been one of the most popular spots for dance in the diverse city. The Moon, in Asian traditions, represents the power of the feminine, the family and a source of healing and strength. The concert at the White Eagle Hall will emphasize on these qualities that women bring to the world.

Full casting is announced for Foxfinder's West End premiere which begins performances at the Ambassadors Theatre on 6 September and will play a strictly limited season until 5 January. Olivier nominee Bryony Hannah (Call the Midwife) and Paul Nicholls (Law & Order, The C-Word, EastEnders) will join the previously announced Heida Reed (Poldark) and Olivier winner Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones' Ramsay Bolton, Misfits) in Dawn King's unsettling and darkly comic drama.

Millions of Poldark fans were left heartbroken on Sunday evening when Heida Reed's character Elizabeth Warleggan met her untimely and tragic end in the season finale. After four series as a lead in the much-loved BBC drama, Heida Reed bowed out in a dramatic episode which saw her character Elizabeth die from a concoction taken to induce early labour. As the nation tuned in for the season four finale this week, the emotional scenes saw Poldark fans take to social media in their droves to express their dismay at the shock departure of this popular character.

Music at Kohl Mansion has announced the lineup for its 2018-2019 season of chamber concerts in Burlingame's historic Kohl Mansion, opening Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 7 pm. The series will mark its 36th year with eight concerts, featuring five returning audience favorite ensembles and three debut ensembles. Music at Kohl Mansion will welcome back the Alexander String Quartet, the Miro Quartet, the Trio con Brio Copenhagen, the Israeli Chamber Project, and the Trio Solisti. Making their debuts on the Kohl stage this season will be the Aeolus Quartet, the Music of Remembrance Ensemble, and the Gryphon Trio.

HEDY! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr explores the life, inventions and person of Hedy Lamarr, Viennese-born Hollywood film star of the 1930s-1950s. Known as The Most Beautiful Woman in the World, Hedy Lamarr stored away knowledge of munitions while married to Austrian arms dealer, Fritz Mandl. She employed this knowledge to support the US Navy's war effort during WWII by inventing The Secret Communication System with composer George Antheil, to make torpedoes more accurate. Also referred to as Frequency Hopping or Spread Spectrum Technology, her invention is used today in cell phones, WiFi, CDMA, GPS, Bluetooth and a myriad of other wireless systems.

INDECENT, a play by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel, created by Ms. Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Ms. Taichman, finished its extended run at Broadway's Cort Theatre yesterday with its highest weekly gross of $739,171. INDECENT began previews April 4 and opened April 18. The production played 128 performances and 15 previews.
