Kevin Kline has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for PRESENT LAUGHTER.

Cobie Smulders stopped by this morning's LIVE WITH KELLY to talk about making her Broadway debut and speaking a fake British accent in Noel Coward's PRESENT LAUGHTER.

Noel Coward was 39 years old when he played the lead role of Garry Essendine, a famous actor fearing for the future of his career as he enters middle age, in the premiere production of his rollickingly good comedy, PRESENT LAUGHTER. In order for that scenario to be believable today, you'd have to cast a woman in the role.

Academy Award and two-time Tony Award® winner Kevin Kline will make his long awaited return to the Broadway stage, following a decade-long absence, to star in Noel Coward's uproarious comedy, Present Laughter. Directed by Tony Award-nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel, this strictly limited engagement will mark Mr. Kline's return to Broadway's St. James Theatre, the site of his first Tony Award-winning turn in On the Twentieth Century. Opening night is set for Wednesday, April 5.

British stage, film and TV actor Donald Sinden has passed away at the age of 90 after suffering from prostate cancer

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.

Obraztsov Puppet Theater of Moscow, to American audiences for the first time. The show, which is suitable for families with children 13 and over, will present its renowned puppet production of 'An Extraordinary Concert', tonight, June 21 at 8:30pm and Sunday June 22 at 8:00pm at the 92nd Street Y, 1395 Lexington Ave, NYC. This special engagement will be presented in English for an American audience.

Cast in principal roles are 2013 Drama Desk Award winner Jayne Houdyshell as the imperious Mrs. Fisher, and Drama Desk nominee Will Rogers as Aubrey Piper, the show-off of the title.
