AstonRep Theatre Company, under the artistic leadership of Derek Bertelsen and Sara Pavlak McGuire, announces its 2019-20 season, to be presented at its new artistic home, The Edge Theater in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood.

Peninsula Players Theatre, in conjunction with its world premi re production of A Trick of the Light, will host a free pre-show seminar with playwright Peter Moore Thursday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the theater. Moore will share the process of having his play produced for the first time. That evening he will also participate in a post-show discussion with the creative team and cast. Tickets to the performances are available, however, admission to the pre-show seminar is free.

New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) will present the world premiere of 'Voyager One' by Jared Michael Delaney from June 20- July 21, 2019. Broadwayworld had the opportunity to interview Delaney about his career and the upcoming show at NJ Rep.

For its seventh year of offering plays by contemporary Irish playwrights to Portland audiences, Corrib Theatre announces a three-show season: Eclipsed by Patricia Burke Brogan, James X by Gerard Mannix Flynn, and Kissing the Witch by Emma Donoghue. La MaMa presents the premiere of legendary playwright Jean-Claude van Itallie's The Fat Lady Sings at La MaMa's Downstairs Theater (66 East 4th Street).
