The Hartt School orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Edward Cumming, returns to The Bushnell tonight, March 2, at 8:00 PM, for a glorious concert featuring the music of Sharlat, Mozart, Beethoven, and Barber, concluding with Tchaikovsky's spectacular 1812 Overture. The performance will take place at The Maxwell M. & Ruth R. Belding Theater, at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, 166 Capitol Avenue, Hartford. The Hartt School of the University of Hartford is pleased to announce that Edward Cumming, outgoing Music Director of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, has been named Associate Professor of Conducting and Director of Orchestral Activities at The Hartt School.
