How We React and How We Recover, the new album from three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, will be released by Ghostlight Records this month. His first solo recording in over a decade is a politically-charged, far-reaching rumination on love, family and music. The play originally premiered in the US at the Northlight Theatre, Illinois in 1993 and this production made its UK premiere at the Tabard Theatre last year. Ian Brown returns to direct Alexander McMorran (Jody) and Aaron Vodovoz (Carl) for this strictly limited run; opening on 14 June, with previews from 12 June and running until 7 July.

Michael Grandinetti is pulling out all the stops when he returns for his fifth season as one of the stars of the hit CW series 'Masters of Illusion'.  Always determined to top himself, in this year's season premiere event, Michael will perform a never before seen illusion in which he visibly saws himself in half, with no cover, in front of 300 onlookers live in Hollywood.  The audience and even the show's production team were surprised by this illusion, which will air in the episode on July 6 at 8:00pm.

Strewth! Everyone's favourite flamin' galah, Ray Meagher, will reprise his role as outback mechanic "Bob" in the 10th anniversary celebration tour of homegrown musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The treasured Australian actor, who recently notched up 30 years as Home and Away's Alf Stewart, will swap Summer Bay for the Queensland stage, joining the cast of Priscilla for the musical's Brisbane run at Lyric Theatre, QPAC beginning 26th September. Ray takes over from veteran actor Robert Grubb who will down tools at the end of the Adelaide season after more than eight months on the road.

Atlantic recording artist Flo Rida has released the new video for his most recent single, “Sweet Sensation.” The video follows on the heels of additional single, “Dancer” – the video for which already boasts over 5.7 million views. Earlier this spring marked the historic 10th anniversary of Flo Rida's debut album “Mail On Sunday,” which featured smash hit “Low.” Flo reflected on this landmark moment in an in-depth interview with Billboard. To celebrate this milestone, March 26th was “Flo Rida Day” in the rapper's native Miami, FL. “Sweet Sensation” and “Dancer” are the follow up singles to bilingual hit “Hola” featuring Maluma – the video for which has amassed over 115 million views. Flo Rida rounded out an all-star 2017 with an appearance at the 18th annual Latin Grammy Awards as well as a performance of “Hola” during the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Nickelodeon today announced the development of a new animated project, Man of the House (working title), from Norman Lear's ACT III Productions. With creative concept by Colombian-American writer and illustrator Michael Molina (Trivia Night), Man of the House follows 11-year-old José as he helps his mother Maria watch over his two younger siblings, Maria Juliana (Maju) and Diego, while trying to form a hip-hop group with his quirky classmate and neighbor, Wilbur, that lives downstairs. Lear (All in the Family, The Jeffersons) and Brent Miller (One Day at a Time) will serve as executive producers.

The Center for Ballet and the Arts at New York University (CBA), the first international institute devoted to the creation and academic study of ballet, today announced the 27 artists and scholars who will serve as CBA Fellows in the 2018-19 academic year. The group - which represents The Center's largest and most far-reaching cohort yet - features distinguished individuals in a range of disciplines, including scholar Cecile Feza Bushidi, lighting designer Brandon Stirling Baker, choreographer Chase Brock, choreographer, filmmaker, and dancer Pontus Lidberg, and scholar Janice Ross, among others.
