Music Director Grant Llewellyn and the North Carolina Symphony will present "Grant's Postcards from Home," a program of celebrated 20th- and 21st-century music from Llewellyn's native land, Wales. The concerts will take place in Wilmington's Kenan Auditorium on Thursday, April 19 and in downtown Raleigh's Meymandi Concert Hall on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21. All three concerts begin at 8:00 p.m.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art today unveiled the 2012-13 season of Met Museum Presents, its newly-renamed series of performances and talks. This is the first full season to be programmed by Concerts & Lectures General Manager Limor Tomer, who assumed her post at the Met in July 2011. The program offers interpretations of and reflections on the Museum's collection, special exhibitions, and tradition through the work of some of today's most celebrated composers and performing artists.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is set to take the stage for two performances only on Monday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 22 at 1:30 p.m. at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane. For almost 75 years, the Glenn Miller Orchestra has performed before millions of music fans throughout the world.

The Public Theater and 3-Legged Dog have been invited by Director General Noam Semel to perform their acclaimed production of THE HUMAN SCALE at The Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv, Israel, making it the first American production at The Cameri in its 66-year history. Written and performed by Pulitzer Prize-winner Lawrence Wright and directed by Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, THE HUMAN SCALE will make its Israeli premiere on Wednesday, May 18 and run through Saturday, May 21 at Cameri Theatre 4, located at 18 Shaul Hamelech Boulevard.

San Jose Repertory Theatre's Artistic Director Rick Lombardo today announced the Rep's highly anticipated 2011-2012 Season, with seven productions starting September 2011 through July 2012. This season includes two major Broadway hits, a World Premiere and several Bay Area Premieres.
