The Pulitzer Prize Board has just announced that English, by Sanaz Toossi has won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Other finalists included: On Sugarland by Aleshea Harris and The Far Country by Lloyd Suh.

The first wave of cast members has been announced for the much anticipated By The Waters Of Liverpool Autumn 2023 UK Tour, after the inaugural tour closed just two weeks into a three-month nationwide tour due to the Covid pandemic.

Each play will take the stage four times a week, alternating performances. On Saturdays and Sundays, both plays will run-one in the afternoon, the other in the evening. That means theatregoers can see both in the same day. Tickets are available at scr.org.

The Greek National Opera will present the premiere of a new production of Verdi’s Falstaff, staged by acclaimed opera director and Artistic Director of the Glyndebourne Festival Stephen Langridge, conducted by Pier Giorgio Morandi.

And no small part of those tales is the fabulous William F. Brown and Charlie Smalls, Tony Award winning musical, “The Wiz” from 1974. And now the 5th Avenue Theatre has brought this green gem to vivid life with their current delightful production.

Bucks County Playhouse’s production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber–Tim Rice musical “Evita” continues through October 30. The Playhouse released a montage of scenes from the production—including portions of 'Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” and “And the Money Kept Rolling In (And Out)”. Hill Country Community Theatre has announced its 2021-22 season featuring the musical comedy “Nunsense A-Men!,” a holiday comedy “A Doublewide, Texas Christmas,” an evening of sketches from “The Carol Burnett Show,” the new comedy “Breakfast Club,” and the musical “Destry Rides Again.”
