Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre will roll out the red carpet with a tribute to Hollywood during its 2009-2010 season set to begin September 4. Among the 16 full-length dramas, comedies and musicals are 'Alice in Wonderland - The Musical,' 'Jekyll & Hyde,' 'Equus,' 'The Producers' and 'My Fair Lady.' The Kelsey Kids Series features professional productions presented by talented traveling troupes.

Richard Blackwood, Derek Griffiths and Nina Sosanya will join the previously announced Sanaa Lathan, Adrian Lester, Phylicia Rashad and James Earl Jones in Debbie Allen's sell-out Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Produced by Stephen Byrd and Alia Jones for Front Row Productions, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof will run at the Novello Theatre from 21 November to 10 April 2010, with press night on 1 December.

Artistic director Steve Tomkins gave his directorial debut at Village Theatre in the 1988. This upcoming season marks his seventeenth season with Village Theatre, after having been nominated for an NAACP Award for his work in a Los Angeles production of the new musical City Kid. Tomkins is set to direct three of next season's musical productions.
