AnthonyKen LLC will present their two hit biographical musicals MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL and AN EVENING WITH PHYLLIS HYMAN together for one weekend only at The Gramercy Theater (127 East 23rd Street) this May.

Richmond Ballet returns to The Joyce Theater for the first time since 2010 to perform four NY premieres from the more than 60 works commissioned by the Company since its inception. Under the 37-year leadership of founder Stoner Winslett – one of the longest tenured artistic directors of a major American ballet company and one of the few women in this position – Richmond Ballet has grown into one of the most respected midsized companies, presenting its body of works around the world. For their 2017 New York season, the Company has selected pieces by four gifted choreographers including Chinese-born Ma Cong, Warsaw-born and New York-resident Katarzyna Skarpetowska, San Francisco-based Val Caniparoli, and Richmond Ballet's Artistic Associate, Malcolm Burn.

After paying tribute to artistic inspirations during Fall 2016's DEMO, Damian Woetzel continues to unite artists from across fields around a common theme in performance on April 3, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. in the Eisenhower Theater. This installment of the multi-genre series brings together acclaimed artists for a special one-night performance to celebrate the combination of song and dance.

SRO Theatre Company's 2016-2017 season continues with the Central Ohio premiere of the Tony Award- (Best Score and Best Orchestrations) winning musical The Bridges of Madison County. The sweeping, romantic musical was written by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman ('night Mother) with music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade).

In conjunction with its upcoming production of Topdog/Underdog the Huntington Theatre Company will host a number of special events and post-show conversations. Acclaimed box office star, producer and humanitarian Richard Gere will open the 34th edition of Miami Dade College's Miami Film Festival on March 3, 2017, followed by an Opening Night Gala screening of his new film, Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer, directed by 2-time Oscar-nominated Israeli filmmaker Joseph Cedar, with the KORBEL Opening Night Party to follow at Miami's Historic Alfred I. Dupont Building.
