Composers and librettists were the stars Saturday night at The Kennedy Center's triple world premiere. For six years, the American Opera Initiative Festival (AOI) has selected three composer-librettist teams to create their own 20-minute operas under the guidance of a seasoned composer and librettist. This year, the teams worked with Kevin Puts and librettist Mark Campbell, who won a Pulitzer prize for their opera 'Silent Night' in 2011. The teams produced what Festival Director Robert Ainsley called, 'A snapshot of the contemporary American music scene.' It's an opportunity for creators and audiences alike to explore what is possible in opera today.

Day Star Studio Productions Inc. is pleased to accounce the Florida Reigonal premier of Michael John LaChuisa's iconic musical Hello Again. The musical is a neo classical songcycle, Hello Again which premiered at the Lincoln Center in NYC in 1994 and a recent 2017 Indie film including with a star driven cast including Audra McDonald, Martha Plimpton and Cheyenne Jackson, is a cult classic inspired by the provocative and contreversial 1897 literary classic by German playright Arthur Schnitzler 'La Ronde' .

A Noise Within (ANW) presents the third production of its 26th season, Mrs. Warren's Profession by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Michael Michetti, performing October 8 through November 18, 2017 (Press Opening October 14). Judith Scott, known for her role as Claudia Crane on the current FX series Snowfall, makes her ANW debut as the titular Kitty Warren. A special Pay-What-You-Can performance has been announced for Thursday, October 12 at 7:30 pm.

The Sedona Women's Institute's two-day Power of Sisterhood Conference brings together facilitators, speakers and like-minded women to explore, discover and make plans to support, guide and empower women and girls, Sept. 2-3 at the Sedona Creative Life Center, 333 Schnebly Hill Road in Sedona.

Celebrity chamber music ensemble Ying Quartet stays in residency on Cape Cod in August, making its debut appearance during Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival's (CCCMF) 38th season with three diverse concert programs.  The final two performances feature the Festival's two artistic directors as instrumental guests.  The Ying Quartet performs on Monday, August 21 at 7:30 pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 204 Monument Road, Orleans.  The Art of Song is held on Wednesday, August 23, 7:30 pm is held at Chatham Congregational Church, 650 Main Street.  The season comes to a brilliant close with The Brahms Quintets on Friday, August 25, 7:30 pm at Wellfleet Congregational Church, 200 Main Street.

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF), currently producers of the Tony-nominated 'Indecent,' and the company responsible for last season's hit musical 'The Golden Bride,' kicks off its record-making 103rd consecutive season with 'Amerike - The Golden Land,' a high-energy musical journey of the American immigrant experience.

Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright has teamed up with charity The Art of Elysium and its new fully philanthropic production company and video streaming platform Elysium Bandini Studios (EBS) to release a rendition of the Stevie Wonder classic, 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)'.

On Friday, April  28, 2017 at 7:30 pm Concerts at Saint Thomas Presents The Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir. As one of Europe's leading choirs, this fine choir has delighted listeners since 1924 with its interpretation of the works of major composers of the renaissance and baroque eras, as well as 20th century choral music for boys' and men's voices. Since 1959, the choir has been resident at Copenhagen Cathedral and as part of its duties performs at state occasions and during royal visits abroad.

Cantata Singers concludes its season with a program exploring Jewish history, culture, and music on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 8pm in Jordan Hall. Paired with Arthur Honegger's dramatic psalm King David, Cantata Singers will present Yehudi Wyner's Torah Service alongside Yiddish art songs and choruses by his father, Lazar Weiner, works rarely heard on the concert stage.
