Drayton Entertainment will bring their popular production of the world-wide smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET to Toronto. Written by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, the Drayton Entertainment production is directed by Alex Mustakas, the company's artistic director.

BroadwayWorld has just officially learned that Steve Martin's new play METEOR SHOWER will be coming to Broadway's Booth Theatre this fall starring Emmy and Peabody Award-winning comedian Amy Schumer, Tony-winner Laura Benanti, another Emmy and Peabody Award-winner Keegan-Michael Key, and Alan Tudyk.

Producers Lorne Michaels and Stuart Thompson have announced casting for the world premiere of the Broadway-bound new musical Mean Girls with a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the Paramount Pictures film; music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond; and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.

South Staffs Operatic Company will return to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre this autumn with Monty Python's hit musical SPAMALOT from Tue 10 - Sat 14 October 2017. Monty Python's SPAMALOT, lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, is a kind-of new musical with a book by Eric Idle and an entirely new score for the new production, (well, almost) created by Eric Idle and John Du Prez.

Gary Apple, who has served as a contributing writer on hit comedy series such as "The Simpsons," will debut his new irreverent holiday musical Christmas In Hell during this summer's New York Musical Festival.

Earlier this evening, Pittsburgh CLO Guild President Anne Liparulo announced the Guild's pledge of $500,000 to Pittsburgh CLO's Next Generation Campaign at the 62ndAnnual Pittsburgh CLO Guild Gala, "An Evening in Paris." This special gift was presented as a surprise to Van Kaplan, accompanied by the 2017 CLOE Award, in honor of his 20th Anniversary as Executive Producer of the organization. A.D. Players, one of Houston's oldest and largest resident theater companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jake Speck as Executive Director. In August 2017, Speck will assume leadership of the company that was founded by actress and playwright Jeannette Clift George in 1967.

Million Dollar Quartet is directed by Hunter Foster and will be performed in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from May 30 to June 25.

The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical 'Jersey Boys,' the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, opens May 18 at 8 p.m. at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre. 'Jersey Boys' previews May 16 and 17, and will continue through June 24, 2017.

Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Mike Isaacson will be presented The Commercial Theater Institute's Robert Whitehead Award for 'outstanding achievement in commercial theatre producing' at a reception at Sardi's on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. It was initially scheduled for March 14th but was rescheduled due to snowstorm Stella.

Geva Theatre Center presents The Marvelous Wonderettes, an award-winning, musical trip down memory lane. Written and created by Roger Bean with musical arrangements by Brian William Barker, orchestrations by Michael Borth and vocal arrangements by Roger Bean and Brian William Barker, The Marvelous Wonderettes is directed by Melissa Rain Anderson with musical direction by Don Kot. The Marvelous Wonderettes will be performed in the Fielding Stage from December 8 to December 24.
