The musical excerpts will be followed by an artist Q&A moderated by WQXR's Terrance McKnight. PICT Theatre's final production of the season is the Pittsburgh premiere of Paul Giovanni's The Crucifer of Blood, a Sherlock Holmes adventure featuring characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Matt Torney directs. David Whalen returns to reprise the role of Sherlock Holmes since his 2011 turn as the master detective. Also returning from the 2011 production is Daryll Heysham as Inspector Lestrade. Justin R. G. Holcomb makes his PICT debut as Dr. Watson.

New York, NY, November 14, 2013 - New York Live Arts today announced the addition of a seventh performance of Jerome Bel and Theater Hora's Disabled Theater on Sunday, November 17 at 7:00pm. The additional performance has been added to the original schedule - including shows November 12 - 16 at 7:30pmand November 17 at 3:00pm - due to high demand.

New York Live Arts, in partnership with Performa for Performa 13, will present the U.S. premiere of French choreographer Jérôme Bel and Zurich-based Theater Hora's critically acclaimed Disabled Theater, tonight, November 12 - 16 at 7:30pm and November 17 at 3:00pm.

Segerstrom Center's 2013 - 2014 International Dance Season opened with the world premiere of Diana Vishneva: On the Edge, which introduced two new works commissioned by the Center and Ardani Artists for the internationally renowned and award-winning star of the Mariinsky Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. On the Edge is in two acts, and begins with Jean-Christophe Maillot's intriguing piece titled Switch, followed by Carolyn Carlson's profound solo work, Woman in a Room. After this world premiere engagement in Segerstrom Hall, On the Edge will make its European premiere in December at both the National Centre for Contemporary Choreography in Roubaix, France and in Monte-Carlo's Salle Garnier as part of the Les Ballet des Monte-Carlo dance season. Disney's THE LION KING continues to reign across North America with a sold-out engagement in Pittsburgh, which concluded on Sunday, September 29 at the Benedum Center. The triumphant four-week return grossed over $6.4 million at the box office and entertained more than 85,000 patrons during 32 performances (one of which was tailored to the needs of patrons on the autism spectrum). This was THE LION KING's third sold-out engagement in Pittsburgh, following a six-week premiere in 2004 and a six-week run in 2008 at the Benedum Center.
