Today's subject Veanne Cox is currently living her theatre life onstage at Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) playing the role of Arsinoé in The School for Lies. The show runs through July 9th at the Lansburgh Theatre.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is pleased to announce its production of PARADE, with book by Alfred Uhry, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, direction by Kari Hayter, and musical direction by Robyn Manion. Blackstone Audio has acquired Audio Editions of Auburn, California. While Audio Editions will remain fully operational as is in Auburn, retaining its current staff, Blackstone is dedicated to preserving and growing the brand, giving it a boost with the aid of Blackstone's resources. Michael Crawford, the legendary star of stage and screen will return to the London Stage in a new musical, based on the famed novel THE GO-BETWEEN. According to Baz Bamigboye of the UK Daily Mail, the production will begin performances on May 27th at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End.

Washington State native Trisha Brown is considered the most widely acclaimed choreographer of the postmodern era. For over 50 years, she pushed the limits of choreographic movement, changing modern dance forever. At 79, Trisha Brown has choreographed her last dances. In celebration of her life's work, Trisha Brown Dance Company returns to the choreographer's home state to perform the final performances of her works for the proscenium stage as part of a retrospective presented by University of Washington's World Series at Meany Hall.
