Tony Award winning actress Daisy Eagan and her boyfriend, writer, Kurt Bloom, are pleased to announce the birth of their (completely unplanned, yet gleefully welcomed) first child, Monty Harrison Eagan-Bloom. Monty was born at 3:53 am on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Cedars Sinai Hospital is Los Angeles. Monty entered this world at 7 pounds 14 ounces, 20 and 1/2 inches long. Both mother and baby are happy and healthy. Eagan said, 'Monty is perfect and amazing. His interests include eating, sleeping, pooping and watching Mad Men. And, as our neighbors are quickly learning, he is a coloratura.'

The Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its 24th season of world-class performing artists. The season includes 51 performances of 31 shows from a wide range of genres including Broadway, classical music, dance, theater, world music and jazz, comedy, holiday performances, folk music and shows for families.

The international hit play Love, Loss, and What I Wore will return by popular demand to Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts for a limited engagement June 4-16. The Tribeca Film Festival has announced that they will launch a new annual award to honor the late playwright Nora Ephron, according to Variety. The award, to be called 'The Nora Ephron Prize', will award a monetary prize of $25,000 and will be given for the first time during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.

Leading Australian actress, Amanda Muggleton, is returning to Perth to reprise her Helpmann Award-nominated role as Deborah in the raucous one-woman hit, The Book Club by Rodney Fisher from the play by Roger Hall. This intimate collection of stories by sisters Nora and Delia Ephron and directed by Karen Carpenter is based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman. Like the popular book, the show uses clothing, accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories to which all women can relate.
