The Tony Awards® Administration Committee has announced that Rosie O'Donnell will receive the 2014 Isabelle Stevenson Award. This award will be presented at the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8th. The 2014 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

KATIE FINNERAN, the two time Tony Award winning Broadway and TV star, will make her nightclub debut at 54 Below from May 28 to 31 with the show 'It Might Be You - A Funny Lady's Search for Home.' Endearing, brilliantly funny and always entertaining, she gives us a peek into the life of a performer juggling Hollywood, Broadway, and starting a family. Singing an eclectic array of songs and sharing extraordinary backstage stories, Katie takes us on a comical and poignant pilgrimage to her greatest destination yet: Home. Expect to hear songs ranging from Stephen Sondheim to Ingrid Michaelson, with homages to Betty Hutton and Julie Andrews in between. The evening will be directed by Katie's longtime pal, Broadway's Andrea Burns and will features Musical Direction by Steve Marzullo.

A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN (MOON), by Pulitzer Prize winner and Nobel Laureate Eugene O'Neill, continues Rubicon Theatre Company's 16th Season helmed by Artistic Associate Jenny Sullivan with company member Joseph Fuqua in the role of James Tyrone. (The production marks the 23rd collaboration for Sullivan and Fuqua, who have worked together at Rubicon on productions including Hamlet, You Can't Take It With You and Old Wicked Songs.) Other cast members are Rebekah Tripp, Granville Van Dusen, Scott Roberts and Matthew Grondin.

It was announced today that this year's Daryl Roth Creative Spirit Award will be presented to Playing on Air, which produces short plays by prominent, contemporary American playwrights for a national audience via public radio and the Internet. Dedicated to nurturing and supporting theatre artists, The Daryl Roth Creative Spirit Award, named for the multi-Award-winning producer, is a financial grant given annually to a theatre artist or organization who has demonstrated exceptional promise in their field.

Musical Theatre Artists of Pittsburgh (MTAP) has been established to foster collaboration between musical theatre artists in the Pittsburgh region, and to create opportunities for the development, presentation, and production of new musical theatre. Initiated by Erik Schark, under the guidance and advice of Stephanie Riso - co-founder of Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre currently in its 17th season, and Cabaret Pittsburgh which operated 2004-2008, the group is now led by Stephanie Riso with managing leadership by Jeanne Drennan and the advisory role now filled by Steve Cuden, author of the new book Beating Broadway: How to Create Stories for Musicals That Get Standing Ovations.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced today that the Playhouse has selected Alexander Fraser and Robyn Goodman to assume the leadership roles of Producing Director and Executive Producer, respectively. They will be replacing outgoing Producing Director Jed Bernstein, who announced earlier this year he will be joining Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts as its next President. Fraser and Goodman will begin their duties at the Playhouse in January of 2014.

The Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) presents the third annual Morry and Dolores Kohl Kaplan Northwestern Day today, Oct. 13 on the Northwestern University campus, and the seventh annual Hyde Park Day on Oct. 20 on the University of Chicago campus. These two annual events kick off the 2013 Fall Festival, which will explore the theme of Animal: What Makes Us Human with 88 events throughout Chicago in October and Nov. 1-10.
