BWW Reviews: SPAMALOT Brings the Magic of Broadway to Santa Monica
by Shari Barrett - Jul 6, 2013

It's difficult to know where to start with my praise for this outrageously spectacular production. Starting with a remarkable cast able to transform themselves into what seemed to be hundreds of characters in a matter of seconds, every single element combined brilliantly to make the production shine from start to finish.

The Krayolas Release TORMENTA Album
by Kristin Salaky - Jun 21, 2013

In Texas, they like their legends. The Alamo, Sam Houston, even the Dallas Cowboys. And down in San Antonio they have another: the Krayolas, the band started in 1975 by the Saldana brothers, a pair of Mexican-American teenagers in love with powerpop. The great Augie Meyers, the Texas Tornado himself, calls them up to go in the studio with him, and Little Steven, Dave Marsh, and Ben Fong-Torres think they're the coolest thing since an iced bottle of Lone Star.

BWW Reviews: SPAMALOT, A Delightful Antidote
by Erin Gell - May 12, 2011

In these heady days of austerity and bank bailouts, it's no surprise Dubliners are looking for a bit of escapist entertainment. And, no, I'm not talking about the Eurovision song contest. Only slightly less campy is the UK tour of Spamalot, playing through May 14th at Dublin's Grand Canal Theatre, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more delightful antidote to the recession blues.

BWW Special Feature: EQUUS' Baldwin, Schaffer & Underwood in Conversation
by Joseph F. Panarello - Jun 1, 2010

It's sad, but many times when the topic of Peter Schaffer's Tony Award Winning play Equus enters the conversation at cocktail parties, someone invariably remarks, 'Isn't that the show about the naked English kid and the horses?' Well, on the surface, that's true, but the play is so rich in ideas and subtexts that it would take a blue ribbon panel to discuss the play and its content-to say nothing about its interpretations.
