Trinity Repertory Company has announced that Liza Minnelli will receive the 2010 Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts at the 14th Annual Pell Awards gala on June 19, 2010. The other honorees include George Wein (Outstanding Leadership in the Arts) and Umberto 'Bert' Crenca (2010 Rhode Island Pell Award For Excellence in the Arts).

As previously reported, Michael Feinstein and Dame Edna have decided to collaborate on their upcoming show efforts and will jointly star in All About Me. The New York Times has reported today that All About Me shall run at the Golden Theater. Previews will begin on February 19 with an official opening night of March 18.

Presented by Star Productions, Minnelli will sing sensational American standards in a glamorous and intimate concert. The show will feature some of the greatest songs of all time performed in their purest, most intimate form with Minnelli and her quartet. She will be accompanied by Billy Stritch.

Last night, March 15, the stars came out to celebrate 64 years of Liza Minnelli, who turned 64 on March 12, 2010. Friends such as Parker Posey, Joel Grey and Billy Stritch celebrated with a night of performances honoring Liza, one of theater's all-time greats. Minnelli herself took the stage at the end of the evening.
