The ReGroup Theatre Co. follows their hit revival of 1931- last month with the first ever New York revival of Dawn Powell's Big Night. Peter Filichia called 1931-, 'A complete and total triumph! ReGroup once again proves that it's one of the city's most valuable theater companies.' 1931- director Allie Mulholland again directs and joins the cast of Big Night, along with the talents of Carly J. Bauer, Matt Giroveanu, Daniel Hainsworth, Danielle Heaton, Adrienne LaValley, Kelsey Moore, Mateo Prendergast & Shawn Verrier.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the first wave of invited musicals for its eighth annual festival, which join NYMF's previously announced Next Link Project productions on the 2011 Festival slate. A full breakdown of these seven new musicals follows. The rest of this season's programming, including additional full productions and special events, will be announced in the coming weeks. This year's Festival will begin September 26th and continue through October 16th.

Robin Wagner, Lewis Brown, et al. Win TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards

Three-time Tony Award-winning scenic designer ROBIN WAGNER and esteemed costume designer LEWIS BROWN are among the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Brown was selected to receive the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer Robin Wagner will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away in January of 2011. His award will be accepted by his long-time colleague and friend, Albert Wolsky, who was the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award
