MCC Theater today announced the complete cast and creative team for Amanda Peet's Our Very Own Carlin McCullough, the first of the 2017 PlayLabs readings, which will be held tonight, September 11th, at 7pm at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).

Tickets are now on sale for WAM Theatre's fall Mainstage production of The Last Wife by Kate Hennig, directed by Kelly Galvin. The play premiered at the Stratford Festival in 2015 and enjoyed a completely sold-out and extended run. Performances of this Northeast Regional Premiere production are scheduled for October 13-November 5, 2017, at Shakespeare & Company's Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre, 70 Kemble St, Lenox, MA.

After a smash run last fall, Playwrights Horizons will present MILES FOR MARY, a new play by The Mad Ones. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, MILES FOR MARY received critical acclaim during its fall 2016 run at The Bushwick Starr.

Alex Sharp, Tony winner for Broadway's THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, has signed on for the upcoming DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS remake titled NASTY WOMEN, starring previously announced Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson.

Book-It Repertory Theatre will bring magic, adventure, and inspiration this holiday season with Howl's Moving Castle, a new musical based on an original book by Diana Wynne Jones. A lineup of leading performers, including Jimmy Kimmel, Steve Martin, John Mulaney, Bill Murray, Paul Shaffer, Martin Short, Sarah Silverman, Eddie Vedder, and others will salute David Letterman at the 20th annual Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 8 p.m. The 20th Anniversary program will pay tribute to the humor and accomplishments of Letterman, and will be taped by WETA Washington, D.C. The program will air on PBS stations as David Letterman: The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize nationwide on Monday, November 20 at 9 p.m. (check local listings). Artists are subject to change.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will present the 20th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor to David Letterman on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. The Prize, which is named to honor one of the world's greatest humorists, will be given at a gala performance featuring some of the biggest names in comedy.
