Urban Stages 38th Annual Gala took place on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 at the Central Park Boathouse.

The Broadway Education Alliance Inc. presented the 12th annual Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance yesterday at the Open Jar Studios on Broadway.

Theatrical charity Acting for Others today announced that over £45,500 – nearly double the amount in 2019 – was raised at the West End Flea Market on Saturday 21 May held at St Paul’s Church in Covent Garden, with thousands of people in attendance.

Sondheim's macabre musical Sweeney Todd, arrives in Brazil. The show opened on March in Sao Paulo for a short season and takes place on the 033 Rooftop of Teatro Santander. With direction by Ze Henrique de Paula, the Brazilian production stars Rodrigo Lombardi (Sweeney), Andrezza Massei (Mrs. Lovett), and Mateus Ribeiro (Tobias Ragg).

Broadway in Indianapolis is proud to announce the 2022-2023 Season celebrating the three Indianapolis premieres of Anastasia, Disney’s Aladdin, and Ain’t Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations. Top West End theatre shows participating in this year's West End Flea Market, run by theatrical charity Acting for Others, have been announced. The event will take place on Saturday 21 May at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden, from 10.30am – 1pm. Entry is £1.

Skylight Music Theatre announced the full cast for the Wisconsin premiere of Dennis DeYoung’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, running May 20 through June 12, 2022. MOSSO, the Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, have announced details of their upcoming summer concerts at Symphony Hall. MOSSO will celebrate the music of Stephen Sondheim and John Williams. Broadway Across America has announce the 2022-2023 Broadway at the Eccles season, bringing the best of Broadway to Salt Lake City. The season begins with two weeks of the smash Broadway hit Moulin Rouge! The Musical, winner of 10 Tony Awards.
