On Saturday, February 4 at 8 pm, The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO)'s Saturday Evening POPS! concert celebrates famous songs and music of the stage and screen with guest vocalist Sierra Boggess and the return of Lucas Richman as host and conductor. The concert highlights iconic melodies from productions which have found success on both stage and screen. Ms. Boggess performs songs from Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Little Mermaid, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Love Never Dies, and In the Good Old Summertime. The evening also includes a tribute to George Gershwin, dance music by Leonard Bernstein from On the Town, and selections from Oliver! and The Producers. The concert takes place at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall on the campus of Princeton University.

MTAP's Hot Metal Musicals Incubator presents its third installment of new musical theatre work-in-development with a public reading of The Storm with book, lyrics and music by Stephanie Riso. This free reading, featuring a cast of 15 and directed by Pittsburgh CLO's producing director Mark Fleischer, will be held on Sunday, January 15, at 6:00 p.m. in the Pittsburgh CLO's Charles Gray Auditorium, 130 CLO Academy Way in downtown Pittsburgh. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey rings in the holiday season with a timeless production of A Child's Christmas in Wales, based on the classic story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell. The festive show is being revived for the first time since it last appeared on the STNJ stage in 2003, featuring Greg Jackson in the role of Dylan Thomas. Performances begin November 30 and run through January 1 at the F.M.
