LITTLE WARS. We all fight them. They could be wars of words, wars over ideologies, or wars about favorite sports teams. A cast and crew of seventeen students from University of Nebraska Omaha put their heads together and through devised theatre developed a production so unique, so special, that it held me mesmerized for the entire 55 minutes.

Founded in 1993, Southwark Playhouse has always been a local theatre, fostering strong community links and helping to revive neglected parts of Southwark. After settling into its Elephant and Castle home after several temporary venues, the theatre is now fundraising to relocate again to a truly secure and permanent home on Newington Butts, with a satellite studio back under the arches of London Bridge. Each season An die Musik (oboe, string trio, and piano), co-founded in 1976 by pianist Constance Emmerich, returns to an enthusiastic and overflowing crowd at Merkin Hall to perform with imagination, brilliance, and warmth. This year's only New York concert takes place on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2019, 4 pm at Merkin Concert Hall, Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street, New York, NY. The artists performing this fall with An die Musik will be Mark Peskanov, violin; Nicholas Mann, viola; Robert Ingliss, oboe; Thomas Demenga, cello; and Constance Emmerich, piano.

His crisis halts when his sister sends him the 'Jungle Book' that he used to document his childhood adventures with the wolves who raised him, Baloo the bear (Matt Lacas), Bagheera the panther (Mina James), and more.
