Celebrating 40 years, the internationally acclaimed MUMMENSCHANZ is poised to bedazzle a whole new generation of audiences this fall and winter when the legendary mask theater company returns to North America with a special full-length program, from November 2012 to March 2013. Their experiences inspired them to create magnificent quilts that were miraculous works of art, and inspired this haunting play filled with Gospel music that has swept the country. He made a pact with God that he would be the vessel through which God's music would spring. All was good until Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart arrives in Vienna. In horror Salieri determines that it is Mozart instead who is his God's chosen voice.

Face the Music, an ensemble of 20 classically-trained musicians ranging from sixth to twelfth grade dedicated to performing today's most compelling and creative new music, will be presented by Simone Dinnerstein's PS 321 Neighborhood Concerts in a concert called 'Beating Down the Doors' on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 7pm at PS 321 (180 7th Avenue, Brooklyn) in Park Slope. The performance is open to the public and raises funds for the school's Parent Teacher Association.
