Royal Court Theatre Announces Cast for INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORRECT ASSEMBLY

Michele Austin, Jason Barnett, Mark Bonnar, Jane Horrocks, Shaniqua Okwok and Brian Vernel have been cast in the world premiere of Instructions for Correct Assembly, written by Thomas Eccleshare. It is directed by Royal Court Associate Director Hamish Pirie. Thomas Eccleshare's play will be performed in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs Saturday 7 April 2018 - Saturday 19 May 2018. (more...)

Cast And Creative Team Announced For The World Premiere Of THE LOVELY BONES at Royal & Derngate

The full cast and creative team have been confirmed for the world premiere of The Lovely Bones, one of the best-selling novels of the 21st century. Adapted for the stage by Bryony Lavery from Alice Sebold's story and directed by Melly Still, it will open at Royal & Derngate, Northampton on 1 September 2018 before transferring to partner theatres Everyman Liverpool, Northern Stage, Newcastle and Birmingham Repertory Theatre. With Holy Sh!t - the inaugural production in the newly refurbished theatre - in rehearsals, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham today announces the full cast for the world premiere of Stephen Sharkey's adaptation of Zadie Smith's White Teeth - Ayesha Antoine (Irie Jones), Michele Austin (Mad Mary), Philip Bird (Des/Marc Perret/Marcus Chalfen), Ayesha Dharker (Alsana Iqbal), Naomi Frederick (Ruth/Poppy/Joyce Chalfen), Tony Jayawardena (Samad Iqbal), Richard Lumsden (Archie Jones), Karl Queensborough (Anthony /Denise/Josh Chalfen), Sid Sagar (Magid Iqbal), Amanda Wilkin (Rosie Jones), Assad Zaman (Millat Iqbal), and actor-musicians Matthew Churcher, Nenda Neurer (also Clara Jones) and Zoe West.
