New Musical ONE DAY to Premiere at 3LD Art & Technology Center

Producers Big Block Entertainment/Scott Prisand & Jamie Bendell (Heathers: The Musical) and Carl Levin (Rock of Ages) announced today that the new pop-rock musical ONE DAY will have its New York premiere this spring, for a limited engagement at the innovative downtown performance space 3LD Art & Technology Center. The musical will begin previews Saturday, February 7, 2015, with an opening night of Thursday, February 19, 2015 and is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 1, 2015.

Kate Baldwin to Lead Off-Broadway Revival of Andrew Lippa's JOHN & JEN

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Kate Baldwin would star in a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa. This production will include the premiere of a new song, "Trouble with Men." Additional casting and designers to be announced shortly.

BWW Review: A Musical Gift With KANSAS CITY CHRISTMAS

The outstanding musical production of Kansas City Christmas opened the 29th season of the Heartland Men's Chorus on Friday December 5 at the Folly Theater. The newly appointed Artistic Director Dustin S. Cates led the chorus of about 120 men through an array of humorous and sincere holiday songs to kick off the festive season. Cates served as a Guest Conductor for the Chorus's production of I Am Harvey Milk.

THE WOODSMAN to Return to 59E59 Theaters This Winter

59E59 Theaters and Strangemen & Co., in association with Robb Nanus and Rachel Sussman, present the return engagement of The Woodsman to 59E59 Theaters, Theater B (59 East 59 Street between Park and Madison Avenues). Directed by James Ortiz and Claire Karpen, with associate direction by Devin Dunne Cannon. The Woodsman begins performances Tuesday, January 13, 2015 and opens Sunday, January 18, 2015. The Woodsman will play a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, February 22, 2015. The exclusive 59E59 Member presale begins on Monday, December 1, 2014 and tickets will be on sale to the general public on Friday, December 5, 2014.
