Cast Announced for Fiddlehead's SHOW BOAT at Shubert Theatre

Meg Fofonoff and Stacey Stephens, Producing Artistic Directors of Fiddlehead Theatre Company, announced today the cast of Show Boat, the company's first production in partnership with the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre, 265 Tremont Street, Boston. Show Boat will run for twelve performances from June 22-July 3, 2016. Co-Directed by Fofonoff and Stephens, Show Boat will feature a cast of 50 starring seasoned international and off-Broadway performers including Kim Corbett (West Side Story, Les Miserables) as Magnolia Hawks, Jeremiah James (The Fantasticks) as Gaylord Ravenal, Lindsay Roberts (The Gershwins' Porgy And Bess) as Queenie, and Brian Kinnard (Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story) as Joe. Show Boat is Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's epic of life on the Mississippi River with some of the most beautiful and influential music ever written for the stage including 'Ol'Man River,' 'Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man' and 'Bill.' Show Boat will be choreographed by Wendy Hall, with a 27-piece live orchestra under the direction of Charles Peltz.

West End's SHOW BOAT Will Now Play Final Performance in August

This limited season of Daniel Evans' five star Sheffield Crucible production of Show Boat will now play its final West End performance on 27 August 2016. The production was previously announced to be booking to 7 January 2017.

Daniel Evans' Sheffield Crucible production of Show Boat has now transferred to the West End with opening night last night (Monday 25 April 2016) at the New London Theatre.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN Coming to Adelaide

The splash-hit West End stage production SINGIN' IN THE RAIN will make its way to Adelaide in December for a season at the Festival Theatre. The Australian tour premieres in May at Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre, followed by seasons in Sydney, Brisbane before making its way to Adelaide and then Perth.

Single tickets to Lincoln Center Festival shows-highlights this year include legendary stars of Japan's all-female musical troupe, Takarazuka, in Takarazuka CHICAGO; Jonathan Pryce as Shylock in Shakespeare'sGlobe production of The Merchant of Venice; Balkan superstar Goran Bregovic and his raucous Wedding and Funeral Orchestra; and the National Ballet of Canada performances of Christopher Wheeldon's The Winter's Tale-will go on sale to Friends of Lincoln Center on April 1 and to the general public on April 11. The festival runs from Wednesday, July 13 through Sunday, July 31, 2016, with 49 performances by artists and ensembles from seven countries taking place in seven venues on and off the Lincoln Center campus.

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) presents ROAD TO HOPE at Christ Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 9th from 6:00pm-9:00pm, 3445 Warrensville Center Road, Cleveland OH, in the east inner suburb of Shaker Heights. Road to Hope at Christ Episcopal Church is the third of a series of performing arts events to be presented by CPT and community partners in multiple neighborhoods across the Cleveland area between January and June 2016. Visitors will enjoy a full program of theatre, dance, music, spoken word and collaborative art installations created by Northeast Ohio artists, inspired by Cleveland's role in the Underground Railroad and modern day struggles for freedom and justice.
