De Marktkantine Club Announces ADE Program

Amsterdam's historic and influential De Marktkantine Club has announced a mouthwatering program of events for this year's ADE. There will be four carefully considered parties in all, starting on the 18th October and running until the 22nd, with heavyweights like Pan Pot, Nick Curly, Nathan Fake, John Talabot, Genius of Time, DJ Harvey and many more all set to play.

The award-winning documentary Fabergé: A Life of Its Own will be released on iTunes, On Demand, DVD, and Blu-ray on April 10, 2017, in the centennial year of the Russian Revolution. The feature-length film introduces new footage revealing the most valuable Imperial Egg designed by the House of Fabergé-the exquisite Winter Egg of 1913 commissioned by Tsar Nicholas II for his mother. Sold at auction in 2002 to a private collector for $9.6 million (now estimated to be worth $60 million), the Winter Egg is generally perceived by Fabergé authorities to be among the most spectacular and desirable Fabergé objects ever produced.

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center of Palo Alto proudly presents the stellar line-up for its Fall 2017-2018 Arts & Dialogues series, featuring world-renowned musicians, artists, and a host of fascinating thinkers, doers, and innovators. Beginning in September and continuing through December, the OFJCC will host spectacular performances from globally acclaimed instrumentalists such as Israeli cellist Amit Peled and Yeshiva University's The Maccabeats a cappella phenomena. The Jazz Giants series will have audience members swaying along to the mesmerizing sounds of trumpeter Avishai Cohen, and the infectious rhythms of multi-award-winning jazz pianist Kenny Barron. Theatre Artists-in-Residence Arrive for Summer Project

Nettle Creek Players, a 501c3 not-for-profit arts organization, on Monday, June 19 will welcome to Hagerstown a troupe of visiting professional theatre artists who will live in the community for five weeks as they prepare and present the Nettle Creek Players 2017 Summer Stock Tent Theatre Season featuring productions of THE FANTASTICKS, THUMBELINA, BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET, and the NCP Young Actors Musical Theatre Workshop.  Performances of THE FANTASTICKS will be at 7:30pm on July 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 & 22 with BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET at 2:00pm on July 9, 16 & 23 and THUMBELINA at 11:00am and 1:00pm on July 15 & 22, 2017.  The Workshop will be offered from July 11-23, 10:00am-3:00pm.
