Sydney Theatre Company's (STC) Artistic Director, Andrew Upton, has announced the 2016 season, the last of which he will program before the position is handed over to Jonathan Church at the end of 2015.

BootStrap Theater Foundation is pleased to announce the world premiere of 'Arctic Requiem: The Story of Luke Cole and Kivalina' created by Sharmon J. Hilfinger and Joan McMillen, directed by Tracy Ward. This multifaceted theatrical production will run October 23 - November 15 at San Francisco's Z Below Theater 450 Florida Street with an Opening Night on Sunday, October 25, 5 p.m.

Kirsty Besterman, David Cardy, Amanda Hadingue, Adelle Leonce and Andy Rush will join the previously announced Sally Messham and Laura Rogers in Laura Wade's new adaptation of Sarah Waters' bestselling novel, Tipping the Velvet, directed by Lyndsey Turner. They will be supported by a young ensemble. Tipping the Velvet will open at the Lyric Hammersmith on 28 September 2015, with previews from 18 September.

Cygnet's tradition of shows performed in rotating rep continues with Noel Coward's Hay Fever (dir. Rob Lutfy) and The Vortex (dir. Sean Murray). These two plays turned Coward into an overnight sensation, one light and madcap, the other dark and shocking. Written at the same time, they represent opposite sides of Coward's talent. San Diego favorite Rosina Reynolds takes on the strong female roles in both these productions. Opening night for both productions is Saturday, October 3rd at 3 (Hay Fever) and 8 pm (The Vortex).

Olney Theatre Center, a Mid-Atlantic destination for extraordinary theater performance and education, opens its 2015-2016 season with Noel Coward's Hay Fever, running September 2 - September 27, 2015 on the Mainstage, directed by Artistic Associate Eleanor Holdridge.

On September 26, the Long Beach Playhouse opens its 87th Mainstage Season with lower ticket prices for Friday night shows. Instead of paying $24, the Friday night single ticket price will be $20.

More than 430 Elly nominees for the 2014-15 season were announced at an informal nomination reception on Sunday, August 2, 2015 beginning at 7pm. More than 100 actors, directors, technicians, and producers were on hand to listen excitedly for their names to be called. This year's theme is How Sweet It Is and featured an assortment of brightly colored candies displayed in decorative candy jars.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of Last of the Red Hot Lovers, tonight, July 17, at Hanover Tavern, 13181 Hanover Courthouse Road. The show runs through Sunday, August 30, 2015.

According to The New York Times, television star Dylan McDermott has signed on to lead the stage adaptation of Tennessee Williams' 1956 film BABY DOLL at McCarter Theatre in New Jersey this fall. The production will run Sept. 11-October 11.

This year's season is a celebration of authors and their finest works with classics including Pygmalion, The Mousetrap, A Raisin in the Sun and Around the World in 80 Days. The season opens with Lanford Wilson's comedy classic, Hot L Baltimore on September 26, 2015. The season curtain falls on August 6, 2016 with the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. In between are six plays, including a two-weekend run of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.

'Dial M for Murder' was first staged on Broadway in 1952 and Knott adapted the script for Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 classic film.

The Old Globe presents William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night, directed by Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, as part of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement runs through July 26, 2015, with opening night tonight, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

Belgrade Theatre Coventry and Big Broad Productions present CRUSH, the brand new musical, which will premiere at Belgrade Theatre Coventry running from Friday 4 to Saturday 19 September 2015.   CRUSH will then run at Theatre Royal Brighton (22-26 September) and Richmond Theatre (29 September-3 October).
