Repertorio Español - one of Off-Broadway's longest-running, continuous theaters, and the ONLY company that presents Spanish-language/English-translated plays in true repertory in NYC - will mark its 50th anniversary during the 2017-18 season with a roster of plays that demonstrate the company's ongoing commitment to presenting works that represent the diversity of its own 50-year canon, and the diversity of playwriting voices among contemporary and oft-forgotten writers of Spanish drama and literature worldwide.

In 1967, the Summer of Love kicked-off with a two-day concert on Mt. Tamalpais called the Fantasy Fair and Magic Mountain Music Festival. Nearly 100,000 young people converged on the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, turning the Bay Area into the epicenter of a cultural phenomenon known as the Summer of Love. During this transformative time, music, fashion, art and new ideas flourished and there was a feeling that everything was possible.

Coming to The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre this spring is the area's regional theatre premiere production of the high-flying musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The family friendly production, based on the classic film, was announced as part of the theatre's 2017 Mainstage Season last year by producers. The musical will take flight at the area's only year-round producing theatre beginning April 7th.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center and AEG Presents announced today that tickets for Taj Mahal/Keb' Mo' will go on sale Friday, March 17 at 10 a.m. Grammy award-winning American blues musician, Taj Mahal and three-time Grammy winner and visionary roots-music storyteller, Keb' Mo' will perform for one night only at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Strauss Square in the downtown Dallas Arts District.

Today, Buckland Theatre Company has announced casting for LUV, the company's second production at PARK90 at Park Theatre. Directed by Gary Condes, Nick Barber will play Milt, Elsie Bennett will play Ellen and Charles Dorfman will play Harry. Written by Murray Schisgal (best known for co-writing the screenplay for Tootsie), LUV premiered on Broadway in 1964 directed by Mike Nichols and was Tony nominated for Best Play and Best Author. LUV will play at PARK90 from 8 Decemberuntil 7 January with an official press night on 13 December.
