A new version of HAIR's iconic dance-party finale, created to motivate New Yorkers to join in the National Equality March, will be presented at the matinee performance on Wednesday, October 7th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre - 302 West 45th Street.

The producers of HAIR recently announced the addition of six new cast members to the Tony Award-winning musical. Krystal Joy Brown, Heath Calvert, Matt DeAngelis, Rachel Bay Jones, Hannah Shankman and Ryan Watkinson have now joined the 'Tribe.' HAIR began preview performances on March 6 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC) and opened to rave reviews on March 31, 2009.

As reported yesterday, Givenik.com announced that they are holding a raffle at this year's Broadway Flea Market as part of a partnership with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Today they announced that celebrity participants scheduled to appear include: Kevin Cahoon, Colman Domingo, the Tribe of HAIR, Max Von Essen, Ash Folk, Patrick Heusinger and Reshma Shetty.

Gavin Creel, the Tony nominated star of the hit musical HAIR, injured his ankle during the number 'I've Got Life.' He suffered the injury at yesterday's matinee performance of the Tony winning revival at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
