The producers of HAIR announced today that, as of today, a new block of tickets has gone on sale
for performances through April 5, 2010.

Since its opening on March 31, 2009, HAIR has recouped its entire investment and has become one of Broadway's biggest hits.

The story of a group of young Americans searching for love and peace during the Vietnam era, HAIR is a timeless portrait of a movement that changed the world. Its groundbreaking rock score paved the way for some of the greatest musicals of our time. Now, the "Age of Aquarius" dawns again in this jubilant new production, which is the winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle also recently honored the production with their 2009 award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical. Directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Karole Armitage, HAIR features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot.

The complete cast of HAIR includes Sasha Allen, Ato Blankson-Wood, Krystal Joy Brown,
Steel Burkhardt, Jackie Burns, Heath Calvert, Briana Carlson-Goodman, Allison Case, Gavin Creel, Matt DeAngelis, Lauren Elder, Allison Guinn, Chasten Harmon, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Kaitlin Kiyan, Andrew Kober, Josh Lamon, Megan Lawrence, Caissie Levy, Nicole Lewis, Ryan Link, John Moauro, Darius Nichols, Brandon Pearson, Paris Remillard, Megan Reinking, Bryce Ryness, Michael James Scott, Hannah Shankman, Maya Sharpe, Kacie Sheik, Will Swenson and Tommar Wilson.

HAIR is presented on Broadway by The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Executive Director) Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Gary Goddard Entertainment, Kathleen K. 8:00 p.m., Wednesday & Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

The pre-performance lottery for "BE-IN" box-seat tickets remains in effect. Those wishing to
purchase these tickets are asked to show up at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre 2 1/2 hours before each performance for a drawing that will take place 2 hours before curtain. For every performance, a limited number of lucky audience members will receive $25 "be-in box" tickets, promising to make
their experience of the show both affordable and unique. Limit one entry per person, and two tickets per entry. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the box office in cash only.

Ghostlight Records' New Broadway Cast Recording of HAIR has just been released and is currently available in stores and on iTunes.
