Catherine E. Coulson, a stage and screen actor best known for her role as The Log Lady in David Lynch's legendary TWIN PEAKS, and who made her artistic home with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for 22 seasons, passed away early this morning in her home after a battle with cancer. She was 71.

Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Joe Raposo and Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheldon Harnick's uplifting musical A WONDERFUL LIFE reminds us how one person's life can touch that of so many others. Based on the beloved 1946 holiday movie classic, this charming musical is sure to inspire and entertain. The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.

Listen up, fives. A ten is nominated at this year's Emmy Awards. Yes, that's right. Tony-winning Broadway superstar Jane Krakowski, previously Emmy-nominated for her work on 30 ROCK, will once again go for Emmy gold on Sunday, September 20th. This time around, she's nominated for her hilarious portrayal of Jacqueline Voorhees on Netflix's UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

This morning, Broadway's Tituss Burgess (THE LITTLE MERMAID) received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Tituss Andromedon on Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

The Randolph Academy's honorary patron Sergio Trujillo returned to Toronto on June 22 as a VIP presenter at the 2015 Dora Mavor Moore Awards. At the ceremony, Mr. Trujillo was presented with a congratulatory scroll from Mayor John Tory's office by Councillor Gary Crawford (Ward 36-Scarborough Southwest), acknowledging Mr. Trujillo's accomplishments in the arts.

The actor talks about portraying the eccentric character and also reveals he is currently writing a musical of his own based on a Whitney Houston film.
