DANCING WITH THE STARS is gearing up to celebrate its 25th season, and the new celebrity cast are sparkling up their wardrobe, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the season kicks off on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

Walnut Street Theatre opens its landmark 209th season with the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. Directed by, and starring, Frank Ferrante, with choreography by Michelle Gaudette, this production begins previews on September 5th, opens on September 13th and runs through October 22nd on the Walnut's Mainstage.

A brand new production of Nick Enright and Max Lambert's celebrated Australian musical Miracle City takes over the Sydney Opera House Studio from 12 - 29 October with an outstanding cast of new stars and musical-theatre veterans.  

Following a successful summer run of Aaron Posner's play Life Sucks, Company of Fools' 22nd season of theatre continues this fall with a production of BRIGHT HALF LIFE by playwright Tanya Barfield. Company of Fools' Interim Artistic Director, Ilana Becker, will direct the play, which runs Sept. 27-Oct. 14, 2017, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

Director Stan Zimmerman has found his quartet of actors for the first major revival of Justin Tanner's acclaimed comedy play, Heartbreak Help.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full casting and creative team for the world premiere of AIN'T TOO PROUD-THE TEMPTATIONS MUSICAL. The musical stage production will be directed by Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. Berkeley Rep presents the show by special arrangement with Ira Pittelman and Tom Hulce (American Idiot, Spring Awakening).

Earlier today it was announced that DANCE MOMS star Abbie Lee Miller will serve one year in prison, after being sentenced for bankruptcy fraud. Miller was charged with attempting to hide $775,000 of her earnings from the Lifetime series during a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.
