Lipuma, presents Buried Child, written by Sam Shepard and directed by WT Resident Director Kimberly Senior. Buried Child runs May 9 - June 17, 2018 in the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Press Opening is Wednesday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Vitale Artistic Director, continues its 2017/18 season with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner by Todd Kreidler (based on the screenplay by William Rose), directed by Marti Lyons with Associate Director Wardell Julius Clark. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner runs March 15 - April 15, 2018 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Ave. The press opening is Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 8:00pm.

The Keir Choreographic Award is Australia's first major choreographic award presented by the Keir Foundation, Carriageworks and Dancehouse with the Australia Council. The Keir Choreographic Award is a national biennial award dedicated to commissioning short works and promoting innovative, experimental and cross-artform practices in contemporary dance. The award invites Australian professional artists with an established practice to propose a choreographic idea for an original live performance of no more than 20 minutes.

The 2018 McCammon Voice Competition judges have chosen the semi-finalists for the eighteenth biennial competition, to be held on March 16, 2018 at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The finals will be held March 17, 2018 at Bass Performance Hall. Hungry Ghosts is a new Australian work by Jean Tong starring Emina Ashman, Jing-Xuan Chan and Bernard Sam that offers an unconventional take on contemporary life as it crisscrosses between the fate of flight MH370, Malaysia's billion-dollar 1MDB scandal, and explorations of identity.

Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director), has extended the world premiere of Aleshea Harris's Relentless Award-winning Is God Is, directed by Taibi Magar, a second time, through March 31.

GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Patty Griffin has announced an acoustic tour beginning May 1 at The Blue Door in Oklahoma City, OK, and ending May 19 at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX. All dates except the Gruene Hall show will see Griffin performing with her deeply talented long-time guitarist David Pulkingham. The Gruene Hall show will be a full-band performance featuring David Pulkingham on guitar, Craig Ross on bass and Conrad Choucroun on drums. The complete tour dates are below.

The Donmar Warehouse today announces full casting for James Macdonald's new revival of William Congreve's Restoration comedy masterpiece The Way of The World. Haydn Gwynne will be playing the role of Lady Wishfort, replacing Linda Bassett who has sadly had to withdraw from the production before the start of rehearsals for personal reasons.

The Theatre Group at SBCC will present will be the comedy thriller COMMUNICATING DOORS by Alan Ayckbourn, directed by Katie Laris, February 28-March 17, 2018  in the Garvin Theatre. This intricate, time traveling, comic thriller by the British master of farcical comedy delighted London and New York audiences.

(Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) extends the world premiere of Aleshea Harris's Relentless Award-winning Is God Is, directed by Taibi Magar by two weeks, through March 25. In this play, which dauntlessly cracks jokes as it eviscerates, twin sisters Anaia (Alfie Fuller) and Racine (Dame-Jasmine Hughes) undertake a murderous journey from the Dirty South to the California desert, seeking payback for a horrendous act. Is God Is treats both morality and genre as notions to be exploded, drawing on the ancient, the modern, the tragic, the Spaghetti Western, hip-hop and Afropunk in its subversion of theatrical constructs.
