Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to announce its 29th Season, featuring three productions exploring the American Dream. The 2016-17 season kicks off this fall with a rare revival of Maxwell Anderson's 1930s drama WINTERSET, directed by Ensemble Member Jonathan Berry (Pocatello, Balm in Gilead). The season continues next spring with the world premiere of IN TO AMERICA, a 400-year journey through the immigrant experience written by Artistic Director Bill Massolia (Letters Home) and directed by Dorothy Milne. The season concludes next summer with a newly-orchestrated (Matt Deitchman) chamber version of the Tony Award-winning musical RAGTIME, reimagined by director Scott Weinstein (Titanic, Bat Boy: The Musical) and featuring a cast of 20 actors.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present a 40th anniversary screening of 'Young Frankenstein' with special guests Mel Brooks, Cloris Leachman, Teri Garr and executive producer Michael Gruskoff on Tuesday, September 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. Film historian Leonard Maltin will introduce the comedy classic and host a live onstage discussion with Brooks, Leachman, Garr and Gruskoff.

A new chapter to Ms. von Buhler's Speakeasy Dollhouse, which has over the past two years become one of the city's most unique, interactive, and surreal theatre experiences, Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Brothers Booth brings von Buhler's unique brand of immersive theater to the legends of John Wilkes and Edwin Booth.
