The Ensemble Theatre's 2012-2013 season theme is 'Bridge Art to the Heart,' and their current production of Nathan Louis Jackson's play BROKE-OLOGY is sure to touch and even break hearts. The tragicomedy juxtaposes an erudite man against a man who is the self-proclaimed inventor of the science of Broke-ology. In essence, it pits book smarts against street smarts. However, these two disparate men are also brothers who have to deal with the declining health of their father, who is quickly losing his longtime battle with multiple sclerosis (MS) and having visions/delusions of his deceased wife.

Artist Barbara Bloom has devoted her career to questioning the ways we perceive and value objects. With a light touch and subtle wit, she divines the meanings encoded in the things with which we surround ourselves. The Jewish Museum invited Bloom to create an installation drawn from its 25,000 works of ceremonial, decorative, and fine art. Her presentation sets a selection of over 270 pieces in unconventional contexts, and offers visitors new ways to view the Museum and its holdings. As it were ... On the heels of November's successful food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Ocean and Monmouth Counties and victims of Hurricane Sandy, Liberty Hall's season of giving continued with the joyful delivery of over three hundred toys to the Picatinny Visitors Center in Dover, New Jersey on December 18th. With the help of Kean University students, faculty and staff, Liberty Hall Museum was able to collect 367 toys on behalf of Toys for Tots.
