Lyric Music Theater Announces 66th Season

Lyric Music Theater, 176 Sawyer Street, South Portland will be presenting four musicals and a classic play in their 2018-2019 season. All five shows are being performed on the Lyric stage for the first time and include family friendly classics, romantic drama, uproarious comedy, murder and mystery, and an epic, classic tale, something for everyone.
MasterVoices Announces 2018-19 Season

Ted Sperling, Artistic Director of MasterVoices, announced details of the acclaimed ensemble's 77th season, celebrating the power of the human voice to unite, inspire and connect since 1941. The upcoming season will be framed by two major musical events, the New York premiere of a multi-media version of Handel's oratorioIsrael in Egypt performed at Carnegie Hall, and a new adaptation of the Kurt Weill-Ira Gershwin-Moss Hart avant-garde musical, Lady in the Dark, starring Victoria Clark at New York City Center. Lady in the Dark has not been seen in New York since it was presented at New York City Center in 1994 as part of the inaugural Encores! season.
Vintage Theatre Productions Announces 2019 Season

Vintage Theatre Productions announces 11 shows for the 2019 season. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at Vintage Theatre, 1468 Dayton St. in Aurora. Sundance Now Comes Aboard Season Two of Crime Drama Series RIVIERA Starring Julia Stiles

Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium streaming service, announced it has come aboard season two of the thrilling crime drama, “Riviera.” The series, which is currently shooting on location in Nice, will be available to stream on Sundance Now in 2019. Joining the cast for season two is Alex Lanipekun (“Homeland,” “The Borgias,” “24”), as well as the previously announced Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”),Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply), Poppy Delevingne (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Jack Fox (“Dracula”), and Grégory Fitoussi (World War Z). They'll join returning cast members Julia Stiles, Lena Olin, Roxane Duran and Dimitri Leonidas, picking up in the aftermath of the shocking first season finale.

Montalvo Arts Center kicks off its annual Art on the Grounds exhibition program this summer with We the People, an evening of poetry, performance, and sound and installation art. Alluding to the quintessentially American phrase that begins the preamble to the constitution, We the People is an invitation to the Bay Area community to join poets, musicians, and visual and sound artists from around the globe to examine the timely and central theme of expanding, understanding, and reimagining the inclusive ways of being together. We the People will be presented 6pm-10pm, July 20 at Montalvo Arts Center, 15400 Montalvo Road, Saratoga. Admission is free.
