The Center for Ballet and the Arts at New York University (CBA), the first international institute devoted to the creation and academic study of ballet, today announced the 27 artists and scholars who will serve as CBA Fellows in the 2018-19 academic year. The group - which represents The Center's largest and most far-reaching cohort yet - features distinguished individuals in a range of disciplines, including scholar Cecile Feza Bushidi, lighting designer Brandon Stirling Baker, choreographer Chase Brock, choreographer, filmmaker, and dancer Pontus Lidberg, and scholar Janice Ross, among others.

50 year Grand Ole Opry veteran Jeannie Seely is a Grammy winner, country hitmaker and award-winning songwriter. During her hosting segment on the Grand Ole Opry Friday night, she was presented with an award recognizing her song "Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand)" for reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Top TV Songs Chart in January of this year.

Houston Ballet will hit the road, traveling just north of their home venue to perform an exciting mixed repertory program at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX on Friday, May 4, 2018. The New England Foundation for the Arts Creative City program announces Project Listen, a series of outdoor public pop-up movement performances by the Deaf community, choreographed by Wendy Jehlen of Anikaya Dance Theater. Damian Woetzel continues his innovative interdisciplinary series uniting artists from across fields in a special one-night only performance, March 7 in the Terrace Theater. Do not be confused by the title. This musical fairy tale is not based on the 1980s Olivia Newton John movie Xanadu. However, author Tim Acito did purposely reference the film in his title because he hoped to emulate that same feeling of sweetness and magic. Like Olivia Newton Johns' character in Xanadu, who was a mystical muse sent to Earth to inspire men, the leading character of Zanna, Don't! is a magical matchmaking teen named Zanna (Conor Walton). With the help of his magic wand, Zanna tends to the hearts and lives of all around him in this fantastical tale touting a humorous and hopeful message of tolerance and acceptance.

The boys are back. Based on an imaginary night at the Sands Hotel, the three musical legends of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. come together to perform a show featuring banter, witty repartee and fantastic songs. Devised and directed by Mitch Sebastian, the well-known show The Rat Pack-Live From Las Vegas now returns to the Theatre Royal Haymarket, where it ran back in 2003.
