WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director, Terry Martin, announced today a special opportunity for full-time residents of the Town of Addison: Our Town for Our Town, a free performance of WaterTower Theatre's production of Our Town on Sunday, September 26 at 2 pm.

It's 1927 and Ma Rainey, the Mother of the Blues, strides into a rundown Chicago recording studio to join a battling quartet of musicians. The great playwright August Wilson places this formidable artist at the center of a captivating drama of flamboyant personalities, professional jealousy, and shattered dreams. Directed by Lou Bellamy, MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from October 16 through November 6. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from November 11 through November 28. The Tucson media sponsors for the 2010-2011 season are KGUN9, MIX-FM and Tucson Lifestyle. A new production of GUYS AND DOLLS, directed by Tony-winner Des McAnuff will begin previews on February 3, 2009 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre. Opening Night is March 1.

Today it was announced that GUYS AND DOLLS will open on Broadway for the first time in 17 years in the spring of 2009 at a Nederlander Theatre to be announced. With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, this production is the first joint Broadway project by director Des McAnuff and Sergio Trujillo since Jersey Boys.
