The Black Box Performing Arts Center, home of Black Box Studios, continues to emerge as the Tri-State area's premiere destination for both cutting-edge professional theater and collaborative performing arts education as it presents a new Spring fundraising production, the rousing immersive comedy Skip & Rivka's Not-So-Kosher Interactive Jewish Wedding Experience in the heart of Teaneck, NJ - just a quick ride over the George Washington Bridge.

Created by Michael Gurin and Matt Okin, this "true-to-life" Jewish wedding "experience" features many of the extraordinary performers who have appeared in BBPAC shows throughout our first season: ShAri Cohen (The Goat), Jason Felix (Blood Brothers, Cloud 9),Brianna Fernandez (Diana & Navy), Sara Giacomini (Blood Brothers, Cloud 9), June Mandeville (Fifth Of July), Vikki Martin (Tale of The Dragon Tale, This Time), Danielle MacMath (Evil Dead, Cloud 9), Nate Murphy (The Pillowman, This Time,Fifth of July, Evil Dead), Joseph Ramondino (Twist of Faith, Cloud 9), Lisa Tiger (Fifth of July, Blood Brothers),Laurence Wallace (The Goat, Cloud 9), and special guests.

In Skip & Rivka's..., the audience "plays" the guests at the unlikely marriage of Skip Gold, a budding young musician and son of a fading soap-opera star, and Rivka Nussfogel, the ultra-religious daughter of an angry Brooklyn butcher and his observant wife. The affair brings together divergent family members and friends...and their divergent attitudes and conflicts. Can they learn to accept one another and celebrate like the new couple so deeply desires?

Sunday, May 14th, 6:30PM
