The UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television (UCLA TFT) announced today the production of Carrie the Musical, directed by three-time Ovation Award-winning director Nick DeGruccio, with choreography by four-time Ovation Award winner Lee Martino. On the heels of a thrilling performance by Phantom star DAVIS GAINES, the 2017 Janet and Mark L. Goldenson Broadway Concert Series at Rubicon Theatre Company continues with a concert starring Emmy Award-winner and multiple-Tony nominee NANCY DUSSAULT in MY LIFE…UPON THE WICKED STAGE. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts announced today that James A. Rocco has decided to step down from his role as Vice President of Programming and Producing Artistic Director to pursue his freelance career. After more than a decade of remarkable service to the Ordway, Mr. Rocco's departure date is planned for December 22, 2017.

Here they go again! Additional casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Mamma Mia!, Friday, July 28, at 8 PM, Saturday, July 29, at 8 PM and Sunday, July 30, at 7:30 PM. The new cast members are Corbin Bleu as Sky, Dove Cameron as Sophie, Lea DeLaria as Rosie, and Jennifer Nettles as Donna. The production also stars previously announced Jamie Camil as Sam.

J. Bailey Burcham, hot off his searing, critically-acclaimed lead performance in Panic! Productions' mounting of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at Theatre 68, has signed on as director of Panic!'s next show, Little Shop of Horrors. Burcham will put his stamp on the Menken-Ashman musical favorite by updating the action to Los Angeles' Skid Row in the 1990s. Helping Burcham bring this fresh concept to life are choreographer Tyler Matthew Burk, music director Josh Bednarsky, set designer Rei Yamamoto, lighting designer Shara Abvabi, and costume designer Barbara Mazeika.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) has announced the return of the highly acclaimed and widely popular holiday show, "Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin." The newly announced show, a holiday offering during the downtown theatre's 42nd season, features songs by Irving Berlin and a book by Hershey Felder, with direction from longtime Felder collaborator Trevor Hay. The show's run begins on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 and plays through Sunday, January 7, 2018 with a press opening on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 8 p.m. on the Lyceum Stage Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza.
